I am a Ph. D. student at the University of Granada. My research interests focus on emotional intelligence, interpersonal relationships, teacher wellbeing and foreign language teaching. I have published articles and a book chapter on teacher wellbeing and FL teachers’ wellbeing as well as attended and participated in conferences about cross-curricular education, effective teaching and new approaches in FL teaching and learning. I did a research stay at the University of Chester and also participated at the Postgraduate Conference presenting new findings in the fields of English Language Teachers’ Wellbeing.
My work, as a member of this project, is to explore pre-service language teachers beliefs about what makes a FL teacher unique and to discern if the university degree offers enough theoretical and practical tools to encourage professional wellbeing and to promote problem-solving through emotional and multiple intelligences.
